He made his pro debut on April 7, 1994 for Los Angeles. He pitched every game of his career with the Dodgers, though he battled several significant injuries that cost him a few seasons. Dreifort last pitched on August 16, 2004 in Los Angeles and retired when he was 32 years old. Dreifort amassed a 48-60 career win-loss record to go along with a 4.36 earned run average and 802 strikeouts. Dreifort has three sons with his ex-wife and lives in Pacific Palisades, California, and works with the Dodgers’ minor league organization.
