Cohler became a founding member of Reid Hoffman’s startup LinkedIn and served as vice president and general manager. He became one of the first five employees hired by Facebook and still serves as a special advisor to Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg. Cohler has backed Benchmark’s investments in companies such as Dropbox, ResearchGate, and Couchsurfing. He led a $7 million round of funding for Instagram in 2011. Cohler sits on the boards of many companies such as Tinder and Instagram.
