His works include the Icewind Dale trilogy, the Dark Elf trilogy, the Cleric quintet, the Legacy of the Drow series, the Paths of Darkness series, the Sellswords series, the Hunter’s Blades trilogy, the War of the Spider Queen series, the Neverwinter series, the Corona series, the Spearwielder’s tale series, the Chronicles of Ynis Aielle series, the Crimson Shadow series, Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones, Vector Prime, Tarzan: The Epic Adventures, and more. R. A. Salvatore also writes for video games including Forgotten Realms: Demon Stone and has won multiple awards. He studied at Fitchburg State College.
