He wrote and directed the movie Deliver Us from Evil in 2013 for Screen Gems. He executive produced the movies Misunderstood and Kristy in 2014 and produced and wrote the film Sinister 2 in 2015. Scott Derrickson wrote and directed the movie Doctor Strange in 2016 for Marvel Studios and produced the movie You Bury Me in 2018.
