Sonia Norwood lived in McComb, Mississippi with her husband a former gospel singer and choir director Willie Norwood when their daughter Brandy was born. Sonja is a Christian and she and her family relocated to Los Angeles, California in 1983. Brandy started singing at the age of two as part of the local church choir. Sonja is a reality television personality who appears on the show Brandy and Ray J: A Family Business which can be seen on VH1.
